U11 beat Waringstown U11 in the semi final

The U11 side hosted Waringstown in the Division 1 semi final.Waringstown batted first and got off to a great start. Only one wicket fell in the first 12 overs as Waringstown looked like posting a big total. Some excellent fielding towards the end forced a couple of run outs which pegged the Waringstown innings back as they set a total of 145 to win.CACC got off to a steady start. Alfie and Henry scored 18 runs for the loss of one wicket. Callum and Evan continued the chase scoring 29, which included a six over cover, losing two wickets. Rishik and Drew batted sensibly scoring 15 for the loss of no wickets. Shaurya and Cathal picked up some important runs towards the end leaving Harry and Surya to see the game home. With one over to go Waringstown brought back their opening bowler. Harry and Surya showed tremendous bravery and fended off the quick bowling. CACC won the game by 10 runs and will now play Lisburn in the final.
