Wilson appointed CACC Director of Cricket
Cliftonville Academy CC is delighted to announce the appointment of Jared Wilson as our new Director of Cricket.
Jared has extensive coaching experience having fulfilled coaching roles at both Newbuildings CC and Holywood CC in recent seasons, coaching Boys and Girls of all ages and also the Senior Men’s and Women’s teams at Newbuildings CC.
In addition to coaching our Under 11, 13 & 15 teams along with our senior Men’s teams, Jared will also be involved in coaching in local primary and secondary schools in the North Belfast / Jordanstown area. We will also be undertaking a Girl’s / Women’s programme as we look to establish a CACC Women’s team.
Alongside his coaching role, Jared will also play for our 1st XI and we are looking forward to continue watching him test his skills in the NCU Premier League after a stellar season in the North West Premier league scoring 708 runs at an average of 42 and taking 37 wickets which saw him become a regular in the North West Warriors, and later captain the Irish Academy side at the European T10 championships.
We look forward to welcoming Jared to the Club when he returns from Australia in March.
